Rashami Desai, the actress who has worked in many TV shows and regional movies enjoys a huge fan following on the social media networks and it won’t be wrong to say that she keeps trending on the social media networks on a regular basis for some reason whether personal or professional.
Rashami Desai’s original name is Shivani Desai and though she is basically from Nagaon, Assam but she is a Gujarati and born and brought up in Mumbai. Rashami Desai completed her schooling from Mumbai and she also holds a diploma in Tours and Travels from the prestigious Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai.
Rashami Desai began her acting career in 2002 with Assamese movie, Kanyadaan and for her Bollywood debut she had to wait till 2004. Her first Hindi movie was Yeh Lamhe Judaai Ke which starrerd Shah Rukh Khan and Raveena Tandon in lead roles.
Rashami Desai’s stint in Bhojpuri movie industry was very successful as she worked in many hit Bhojpuri movies and she became a very popular name among the Bhojpuri movie lovers.
Rashami Desai’s TV debut took place in the year 2006 with mythological serial Ravan in which she played the character of Queen Mandodari. Since then, she has worked in many serials and has also played roles with grey shade as well.
She has also participated in the most controversial reality show, Bigg Boss 13 and Bigg Boss 15 in which she ended up as 3rd runner-up and 5th runner-up, respectively.
As far as her personal life is concerned, she got married to her Uttaran co-star, Nandish Sandhu in 2012 but they got separated in 2014 and by 2015-16 they got divorced. Later on, she started seeing Arhaan Khan in 2018 and they also went inside Bigg Boss 13 together where Arhaan proposed Rashami and she agreed too. However, things turned ugly when the host of the show, Salman Khan disclosed a secret of Arhaan Khan as per which he was married earlier and also has a kid from that marriage. Rashami Desai was shocked to know this and after they both came out of the house of Bigg Boss 13, she said goodbye to him.
Rashami Desai has also worked in some music videos and her fans hope to see more of her.
